We are so happy to welcome You to Crete for this very special Study Tour!!

From where did Homer get his stories? Yes, from the Muse, of course. However, there was also a pre-Hellenic culture, whose stories the Muse spoke into the poet’s ear. This earlier culture and its people gave birth to the images of Divine Women and Men, which Homer wove into his tales. Once you have spent time on Crete the facts become obvious…B.L Damron

Our Touring Aim?
To experience Crete through unique Archaeological Sites, Prehistoric Ritual Areas, Archaeological Museums, Sacred Caves and Minoan Peak Sanctuaries. To study and deepen into the ancient Prehistoric “Mother Earth” worshipping and its survival to later eras. Το delve into the ancient Greek Mythology and its symbolism and reveal the mysterious and stunning prehistoric Crete..

Our aim is also to connect with the Land through our Bodies. Minoan Ritual Dance practices in the Nature and Ancient Greek Ritual Music interactive labs will engage us with the Prehistoric and Historic Art and Land and turn thus our Touring Days into a Mind, Body and Soul Travel Experience.

Experiential Wine pressing/Wine making will connect us with this so ancient prehistoric ceremonial practice, which passed later on into the worshipping act of Dionysus much before he was “housed” in a Theatre.

Creating our own pottery in a traditional pottery workshop will “let” clay share its secrets, passing on to us Prehistoric methods and spirits and let free our creativity. Art is one of the most important sources for our Study Tour. Creating our own Art is another of our most important aims.

Driving through unique Natural Scenery- Traditional villages, mountainous and plane areas, sea shores and coastlines we will experience the real, natural and traditional Crete, while Visiting sea shore excavations and Experiencing Dancing by the ocean, we will “dive” into the Minoan world of the “Thalassocrasy of Minos” and enjoy the healing aspects of the Mediterranean Sea.

In the Wake of Penelope- in the Awaking of our Minds, Bodies and Souls…

…She was Ariadne, Lady of the Labyrinth; A-ta-na Po-ti-ni-ja, Goddess of the Palace; Artemis, Lady of the Beasts and of Wild Places; and the Mountain Mother. The Lady had a Sacred Paraclete, ‘one who stands with.’ Cretan Zeus was the ever-living-ever-dying consort and child of the Goddess…B.L Damron
